Generations in Conversation

Students from the digital age sit face to face with seniors from Canada’s retirement capital to discuss the changing nature of the world—and what intuitive wisdom stands the test of time.

This unique podcast invites eight seniors (ages 55–95) and eight youth (ages 12–17) to engage in meaningful, intergenerational conversations—exploring everything from technology to relationships, history, careers, and what truly stands the test of time. Participants will also take part in a short podcasting workshop to get comfortable behind the mic. No prior experience is needed—just a curious mind and a willingness to share.

We are currently casting local teens and seniors to join us! If you love to talk, listen, and connect, we want to hear from you. To apply, click this link or email clinton@podio.ca.

  • Read Siska’s Full Bio

Siska is a photographer-turned-videographer who’s spent years telling stories—first at Belgium’s biggest press agency, now behind the camera on Canada’s west coast. With a background in journalism, screenwriting, and film production (yes, she collects diplomas like others collect comic books), Siska knows how to ask the right questions and frame the perfect shot.

At forty, she’s right in the middle of the generations this project connects, making her an ideal fly on the wall—or behind the lens—while teenagers pull life lessons from seniors. She’s here to make sure those moments look as good as they sound.
